The Association:
Established in 1972, the Toronto Chinese Business Association is a
non-profit organization dedicated to promoting commerce and trade
within the Chinese community and through integration with mainstream
Canadian businesses in Toronto.
The members of the Toronto Chinese Business Association range from
professionals to small and medium businesses to large multinational
corporations. Working with all levels of government and the Chinese
community, the association has been successful at representing and
protecting the interests of Chinese business, while promoting culture
and community.
Mission Statement:
Toronto Chinese Business Association strives to advance the economic
well-being and commercial interests of Chinese Canadian businesses in
Toronto.
Objectives:
- To advance the commercial and economic interests of Chinese Canadian businesses in the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto
- To
initiate and respond to the legislation affecting members of the
Toronto Chinese Business Association and Chinese Canadian business
community
- To create, stimulate and increase public awareness of matters dealing with the Chinese Canadian community
- To
promote fellowship and harmony among members engaged in trade and
commerce or residing in the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto
- To take an active interest and participate in civic, social and moral welfare of the Chinese Canadian community
