Politicos Off to China
By JENNY YUEN, SUN MEDIA Some GTA mayors hope to boost Canada's economy by heading to the Far East on a trade mission next spring. The Confederation of Greater Toronto Chinese Business Association kicked off its media launch yesterday of travel plans to China for Shanghai's Expo 2010, an international fair. So far, Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion and Richmond Hill Mayor Dave Barrow confirmed they're going. Mayors from Toronto, Markham and Vaughan are on the maybe list.
